As we were leaving Moss Landing we happened to see....

Yes that's right,

a lady walking her duck!

Dawn had to get pics!

and then talked to her for a bit.

She said she takes her duck everywhere with her

hmmm

only in California!

LOL! I was born and raised in So Cal and I've never seen that...that was unusual even for California!

LOL!!!!!!! ya gotta figure in that california has 1/10 of the US population, so there's gonna be a few...uh...well...unique people here and there. :)

Hmm, I kind of feel sorry for the duck, it shouldn't be walking but rather swimming with other duckies.
But heck, I guess she is taken care off.
Looks like you are having a wonderful stay in California. I sure could use some of that sunshine.

What a beautiful place, and that was nice of you to show us the woman with the duck. That is something extraordinaary. I just hope she lets it swim when she is done. Ducks are so cute, but I will stick to my dog for walking.
