We're at The End, Let's Hit the Bar!

We have reached the end
of our visit to The Merced Ag Museum,
The Bar!

Remember these?

A few familiar faces ;)

Lots of old signs...

and everything else!
The "tin roof" boasts a variety of hats,
and there's Charlie, behind the bar!

A charcoal drawing of Frank Sinatra..

Charlie tells us about the old gas pump

Just about every inch is covered with something special
that evokes memories.

Tables to sit at too!

Another Paul Bunyan coffee pot..
not sure if guns are a good thing to have in a bar?
LOL

They have get togethers here,
different groups meet also.

ohh, look at that lamp!

way, cool!

Love the lines!

no comment....

Photo of Charlie and family.

Cool Westinghouse Refrigerator!

What a display of vintage Buttons.

And that my friends, concludes the

It was such a fun experience,
we saw more than we ever imagined.
I know this have been a long tour,
but all my photos just touch the tip of the iceberg
of what there is to see.

I think more than one visit is needed
to actually "see" everything.

This is definately worth checking out
if ever in the area.
Thanks for comming along! ☺

Onward Through The Museum!

Yes, there's more!
Do you think I'll ever finish the tour
I will, I promise

Lots of old Motorcycles and Bicycles ~
and other interesting things ~
Love that stove!

Some old cookware to go on the old stove..

Back in the day, it you needed a tool
and didn't have it, you made it.
Look at all these!
Cast iron pans too.

I don't know what it is about old stoves
that I'm drawn to,
made all their ornateness
(yes, that is a word!) LOL

Look at the design on this one ~

Cool!

The Proprietor also built this little Church.
He's had one couple get married in it so far.

An eco-friendly Drum Set.

Trunks were everywhere

Bunnies too!

Some of Charlie's (Proprietor) Family History

Charlie has also built an outhouse for our convience.
Here's the outside walls
Love the desk side hanging there~

The other side
Oops, there's my friend, Dawn's, Aunt Carole
Hi Aunt Carole!!

Love this picture of the surrounding brick floor

Ready to go inside?

Not like any outhouse I've ever been in before!
Gorgeous!

Charlie takes credit for the structure
but gives his wife all the credit for the inside ☺

The next installment will be the Bar Room
Woo Hoo!

Mosaic Monday ~ Mental Vacation

Since so many of you are under snow,
I thought a little warmer "Mental Vacation"
could maybe help you through
till Spring thaw!

Be sure to visit Mary over at Little Red House
to see everyone elses mosaics.

Enjoy!

How to Type Symbols With Your Keyboard

If you are anything like me,
you've always wondered how to make those fun symbols
like you see others do....
You know, a heart, musical note, diamond, etc.

Well I stumbled across how to do it!
Several of you have asked how to,
so here ya go,

I am more than willing to share what little knowledge I have! LOL

This should work in any Windows word processor,
text editor, browser or email client.

1. Make sure your keyboard is in NumLock mode.

2. Hold down the ALT key and enter the number on the numeric keypad. (Note that many laptops have a blue FN key that changes a set of keys, also with blue numbers on them and usually in the 7-8-9-U-I-O area, into a numeric keypad.)
