Red-Tailed Hawk Live Cam

"A Red-tailed Hawk pair has been nesting on a light pole 80 feet above Cornell University’s athletic fields on Tower Road for at least the past four years. In 2012, we installed a camera to get a better look at these majestic birds as they raise their young amid the bustle of a busy campus. So far, we’ve seen the birds bringing prey such as voles, squirrels, and pigeons to the nest."

Hummingbird Cam and update on Herons

"Phoebe" is a Channel Island Allen hummingbird
in Orange County, California.

She has been laying 4 to 5 clutches each year for several years

I was able to see her feed the babies this morning ...so cool.

Afterward you could see the babies stick out their proboscis as if they were licking their "lips"

My Memories Suite Giveaway!!!

When I was contacted by My Memories to do a review and giveaway of their digital scrapbooking software, I leaped at the offer!

I was so excited to check it out for myself and ecstatic to be able to then give one away to one of you!

This coincides with my Blogoversary perfectly. Let's party!

Whether you are a avid scrapbooker or a novice like me, you will love the ease and variety of elements you can use. No hauling out all of your supplies, they are all right at your finger tips. And since most of us keep our photos on our computer or photo hosting site they are right there also.

Here is the very first thing I did......and I didn't even read the instructions!

This is the template I chose,

the before if you will

Here's the after with Mama (my daughter's cat)

Isn't it just darling?

It would make a great greeting card for that someone special.

But I needed some gift tags for Easter presents so I printed it out in wallet sizes, punched a hole, added ribbon and voila!

Not only does My Memories Suite have a large variety of templates, you can make your own. There are plenty of  backgrounds to choose from and photo layouts to make millions of different beautiful scrapbook pages!  Besides adding photos, there are so many choices to make your scrapbook album "yours". Embellishments, background papers, text, shapes, and more, offer ways to personalize your pages. There is also Music and narration you can add to your album!

Not only can you make scrapbook pages/albums and cards but calendars are also an option.

One of the best features for me was that after you start a project, you can save it at any time so that you can work at it whenever you like.  You don’t have to finish it all at one time.

This option came in handy when I decided to make a scrapbook for my friend Dawn, who lives in Wyoming and visits once a year.

When I was done I converted it into "movie form", yet another option, and emailed it to her. How cool it that?!

I love the ease and endless ideas you can come up with.

Whether you scrapbook or not, I highly recommend My Memories Suite scrapbook software, which by the way, has been rated #1 in Scrapbook Software.

So many ideas so little time!
