It's Alive!!!

I know I keep saying this but..

WHERE does the time go????
I feel like I'm running in place lately..
late for everything (thanks for the reminder Tootsie!!).

A couple weekends ago we had a "Weeding Weekend" at the farm.
While there I spied a small Weeping Peach.
As you know Mom had a beautiful garden
that has all but disappeared over the years.

Mom had a few of these and every once in a while
a fallen peach would spring forth a new tree.
They are so pretty when they bloom.

This was "The Last of the Mohicans".

I was so sad when I lost mine a few years ago,
I loved it and had received so many compliments on it.

So with shovel in hand I dug it up and
hoped and prayed it would make it.

Well, here she is.....

Leafing out and even a few blooms.

I think she'll be OK.

One of my Baby Roses is just about open.
The little blue flowers next to it are Forget-Me-Nots

Some of my Callas

Ok nope skeddadle over to Tootsie Time to see everyone's
Fertilizer Friday photos!

  4. Hi Deb,
Your weeping peach looks like it is going to make it. The calla is beautiful. Mine is just starting to come back. I love flowers and it seems you have a green thumb too. Love the pictures and hope to see more to come. Keep up the good work.

  8. I enjoyed looking at your flowers tonight considering I am looking out my window at the snow. A great way to start the first day of Spring and they say we have only had round one. We are suppose to get some warm weather where this won't stay on the ground that long, now where have I heard that before. I am a believer that the weather people just guess anymore and don't really know. You take care and enjoy your flowers. Your Missouri Friend.

  9. Hey Deb. Don't you just love those first signs of spring. I can grow canna lilies but have not tried the calla lilies which I love. It looks like your going to have plenty.

Thanks for stopping by. Ebay has just lost their way and their mind.

    Hugs & Love. Have a great weekend...Tracy :)

  10. Congrats on your little Weeping Peach - you saved her!!! There's so much color at your house, Deb! We are still seeing lots of snow here, but I did see three bluebirds in a meadow two days ago. Yay! Spring has arrived!
    Wishing you a lovely weekend!

  11. I just know your weeping peach is going to be a survivor! With your tender loving spirit how can it not? I built a rock garden with rocks that my dad hand picked and split for me before he passed away. It love having a part of my past in my yard that was a gift of love from "home."

  12. Hi Deb,
I'm like you in wondering where all the time goes, but the winter weather seems to be wanting to hang on too long. I'm so grateful my kitchen remodel is finished, and now, am trying to get it put back together. I have the next week off of work, and hope to get some gardening done.

I've never heard of a weeping peach tree. I hope yours does well, and has some babies, too.
