While out counting birds for The 13th annual Great Backyard Birdcount
I noticed I had some botanical activity!!!
Yipeee!!
Buds almost ready to burst...
and even blooms!

I have Daff buds, no blooms yet. Did find a crocus bloom the other day. I love your Goldfinch feeder..so many birds..I turned in my count for the day already. I had 9 different species in an hour.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it so good to see things starting to grow and bloom. It will most likely be another month before our daffodils bloom so I will enjoy yours. You sure have a bunch of Goldfinches. They love that feeder.

How nice to see the spring bulbs popping up!..ours will be at least 2 months yet...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers! My daffodils have just started to push up. Enjoyed seeing so many birds at the feeder; I need to make sure I take a camera with me when I do my next bird count. This morning I had 23 quail on my lawn.

I wasn't doing the backyard count and it's a good thing. The only bird I saw today was the chicken we had for dinner. And it came out of the freezer.

Ofcourse the fact that we have 6" of snow on the ground right now didn't help either.

Oh that makes me wish I was where you live. It looks so inviting with the flowers starting to bloom. It is so cold, but then we could be like some of the rest and have a lot of snow. We have been lucky this time and didn't get much at all. Take Care.
