Is this year flying by or what?!

I barely had time to get my green on! LOL

I found L.A. Colors Color Graze with hardeners at Walmart on sale for $1.99, couldn't resist. It's BCC 657, kind of a shimmery lime color.  3 coats finally laid down a good base to continue with the rest of my plan.

Next I dotted my ring finger with a dark green from Migi Nail Art and 2 coats of Wild Shine by Wet and Wild (Dollar Tree for $1!!). This is my new favorite to play with! It's a clear coat with a ton of tiny sparkly iridescent glitter in it. It really makes the lime green pop.

A top coat Sally Hansen's Megashine and I was ready for St. Patrick's Day.

May you find a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!

Paint'em Pretty ~ Beyond Perfect

Yes, you see correctly ~ I decided to cut my nails short.

Why? Who the heck knows! Am I glad that I did?

NO, not now!

Seemed like a good idea at the time.

You know, I thought cut them back, let them get stronger - like they needed to be any stronger!

Wire cutters would have done a better job

than the nail clippers I used!

But as they say, they will grow out.

In the meantime, I have nothing to use to pry anything open with! UGH!

So this week they are painted #14, Peaceful Plum from the Sally Hansen Collection of Beyond Perfect Protein Nail Color.

Beyond Perfect - apropos for this post huh?

My accent nail is Art Deco Nail Art Lacquer by L.A. Colors in Silver Glitter. Yes, still stuck in glitter mode.

Then, of course, topped with one coat of my fav top coat Sally Hansen's Megashine.  I'm getting really low on my Megashine and am having trouble finding it. I am hoping they didn't replace it with a new/improved "top coat" I keep seeing everywhere.

I am on the hunt!

I cut strips of tape for my accent finger 

painted Art Deco Nail Art Lacquer

by L.A. Colors in white over all for stripes.

Then topped with one coat of top coat

Sally Hansen's Megashine.

I was pleasantly surprised how good the stripes turned out!

Uh yeh, it will be awhile before I can do

 something like this if ever, but aren't they cute!!
