Better Late Than Never

Unfortunately I am quite behind with a lot of my postings.
My plate and emotions have been on over load as of late and then I was infected by viruses and malware from, if you follow me, you know who.
I lost everything, and I mean everything.

Thank goodness for my brilliant oldest son, B, who was able to repair it. C also helped a great deal and am so appreciative to them and also T who has been helping too.

Slowly I am getting back up to speed and getting things re- installed. It was a heck of a way of clean house...starting from a blank slate is so confusing for me, especially when my Windows has been upgraded. Quite a learning curve for me.
If only my short term memory worked better. Seems everyday I have to figure out how I did it the day before!! errggh!

So without further adieu, my 4th of July photos of fireworks that B and T were kind enough to bring over and share.
They also brought me a new camera which has a setting for fireworks!
So I just had to play ;)
Love the way it captures the arcs and sparks of light!

Thank you so much B and T for the fireworks show and wonderful camera! xoxoxo

We Love and MIss You Terribly Baylee

My sweet lovely Baylee.
You were just 5 weeks when we brought you home from the shelter.
It's so hard to believe you are now 16 years old.
You lit up our lives with your antics.

You became my Office Manager

Sometimes managing in your own style

You fought Cancer a few years ago and did well.
Then you developed Hyperthyroidism.

You lost so much weight and the meds weren't helping.
Your Kidneys had issues, but they responded to the meds.
You became weaker and weaker, thinner and thinner and just seemed to not be able to get comfortable laying anywhere.
Then a few days ago we noticed the cancer had returned to your shoulder.
It is such an aggressive kind I know how fast it will grow. I didn't want you to get to the point that you were suffering anymore than you were.
I love you too much to keep you here for my sake.
That damn cancer made me make up my mind.
Baylee was put to rest today.
We will miss you terribly.
I will even miss you stepping on my keyboard erasing everything I just wrote.
But most of all my lap will be cold and my heart will be hurting.

No more weakness, no more falling...
You can now run a jump like you did when you were young.
Whitley and Toby will be waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge.
Give them a snuggle for me

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.... Author unknown...

I Won & Another Awesome Giveaway!!

I don't know about you but anything I get in the mail that is not a bill or junk has me squealing with joy!

Tracy over at Cotton Pickin Cute has the best variety of giveaways.
I was so happy to win one recently:
A coupon for a free Dry Idea product!
I don't know how hot it is where you are but we're in the 100's and anything that can make me feel fresher is a big plus!

Doesn't she have the cutest note cards with the most darling "T" ever!?
Sending a big THANK YOU to Tracy!!!!

I just happened to be lucky enough to come across a giveaway from
Sun 7 Designs during the party of  Where Bloggers Create 2012 hosted by Karen Valentine of My Desert Cottage. Valery was giving away 5-fat quarter packs, 2 spools of Mettler thread and an Olfa rotary cutter. Needless to say I was ecstatic when I won! I have wanted a rotary cutter for such a long time, but being on a strict budget, I just couldn't justify purchasing one.  And I love the fabric patterns, so cheerful

Sending a big THANK YOU to Valery!

Speaking of giveaways, Tracy over at Cotton Pickin Cute
has a new one in the works.
This time it's for Adora Chocolate Calcium Supplement.
Everyone needs their calcium.
But some times we (I) just get to tired of taking pills.
These are the perfect answer!
After all they are CHOCOLATE!! Need I say more?

and enter! Giveaway ends August 20, 2012.
You just maybe the next lucky winner!
