8 Laundry Hacks to Make Life Easier

If there’s one task in this world that everyone loves to hate, it’s laundry. There’s simply no escaping it. Or is there? Check out these 8 easy ways to put an end to the never-ending cycle of, well, never-ending cycles.

 

1. Presort by Color and Material - Why dig through dirty hampers to find like colors when you can just do the work right from the get-go? Buy an extra hamper or two for easy sorting and save those few precious minutes for something more enjoyable.



 2. Wash Items Faster – If you’ve ever wondered what the Quick Wash setting on your washer was for, you’re overthinking it. It does exactly what it sounds like. Assuming your clothes aren’t caked in dirt, try the Quick Wash option and you can cut your time by as much as half.

3. Dry Items Faster – Turns out there’s a trick for this one as well. Next time you throw a load in the dryer, add in a nice, dry, fluffy towel and watch it do what a towel does best.



 
4. Eliminate Lint Balls – Is your sweater suffering from a lint-festation? No worries. Just use a pumice stone to rub them loose, then let a lint roller pick ‘em right up.

Next, lay out the garment on a dry beach towel and roll it up inside to soak up even more. Then, on a new towel, lay the garment out once again, but this time, stretch the loose fibers until they’re officially back to their original size and shape.



8. Comforter Cleaning – Most comforters are WAY too big to fit in your washer or dryer. Fortunately, you can always head to a Laundromat, the dry cleaner, or simply air it out on a clothing line.

 

  While none of these tips will get you completely out of laundry duty, they sure can come in handy. Give ‘em a try this week and start freeing up time to enjoy the better things in life – like just about anything else.

Whiten Your Teeth Professionally at Home #smartsmile

It seems everyone is seeking bright white teeth to achieve that gleaming Hollywood smile. So many things we eat and drink can stain our teeth. Expensive toothpastes and polishes, which in some cases actually erode and damage the enamel surface of the teeth can do more harm than good. Expensive bleach kits, not to mention professional dentists using powerful ultraviolet light is costly and time consuming. 



  

I have used teeth whitening strips.

I didn't notice that much of a difference and the slime they left wasn't the most pleasant.

I haven't tried any "tray kits" 

Not that I haven't been intrigued, but concerned regarding whether they actually worked or not for their price. I have sensitive teeth, and although the strips didn't bother me it seems the trays would be stronger, which made me nervous to try them.

 I was asked to review

 and I have to admit I was excited to try them. 

This kit comes with whitening gel, applicator syringes and mouth trays to whiten your teeth. Simply apply the included gel to the mouth trays and apply to your teeth for between 5 and 15 minutes each day.

You need to fit the trays to your specific teeth,

 you do so by placing them in very hot water for several seconds then place in mouth. It was not uncomfortable, I sucked out the extra water and air and they formed to my teeth with no problems. The directions are easy to follow.

Each tray has a tab, I was concerned with getting

 them mixed up so I marked them by putting

 a T on the top one and a B on the bottom.

The only thing I had difficulty with was

 the amount to put in the tray.

The directions say to add .05cc to the tray.

The syringes have ml measurements.

With Math not being my strong suit

I looked up the conversion on the net.

Well, the egg in on my face, they equal the same.

I feel they need to have the same measurements

on the syringes as in the directions.

It would certainly avoid any confusion.

I left them in for 15 minutes while I checked my email,

with no ill effects. I could feel the gel bubbling,

 I suspect it was the peroxide.

After taking them out, I rinsed my mouth

and it was left feeling fresh. 

I did the treatment for 3 days in a row.

I noticed some sensitivity on my gums,

so I took a few days off.

You can see they have whitened.

I plan to continue using them after my gums feel better.
