ReplyDeleteI love lilacs - do you know the poem by Whitman When Lilacs last in the Door-yard Bloomed? It almost ruined lilacs for me...not because I dislike the poem but because our honors choir sang a dirge-like a Capella song based on it. :)
ReplyDeleteI've taken scads of photos of lilacs over the years. We had a great row of ancient lilacs at our old house - I still miss them.
