When I was asked to review Haus & Garten's Titanium Classic Pruning Shears

I was really excited!

After several years of drought, we have had El Nino storms throughout the winter and I am grateful! Lord knows we needed all that rain badly. But that rain made my gardens come back to life and they had become a jungle!

Panic set in when I realized Easter was early this year

Upon opening I noticed right away just how razor sharp the blade was, the shears are solid and very well made. They felt good in my hand, not too heavy nor too light. I love the ergonomic anti-slip shock absorbing pads. I was relieved to feel how good they felt in my hand as I sometimes have problems with shears sliding/moving and am having to constantly re-adjust, not these! 

These Shears outshine their competition. I was surprised to be able to tackle my entire yard with just these shears. I really gave them a work out! From tough stems, twigs to small branches - I never had an issue. They went through them all without difficulty.
They saved me a lot of time from switching back and forth between tools.

Sure I was preparing for Easter,

had a ton of other things on my mind ~

laundry wasn't one of them.

For Tough Stains

Paint'em Pretty Easter ~ Better Late than Never!

Yes!,

 I got brave and did a Bunny on my thumb.

It was suppose to go on one of my other fingers but well,

it didn't work out that way.

Just lucky it made it there.

Between an impromptu visit to the vet which turned out to be a sprained tail ~ that we stayed up all night with Tora for because she screamed bloody murder about and one of the kids coming down with bronchitis that Izzy just had to share with her Godfather ~ things were crazy. I was running around trying to get things ready for Easter, so when I say it took 3 days to do these nails I mean it took 3 days!

Yes, Spring fever has hit! It's pastel time!

Life has been crazier than normal so only had time for a quickie mani...no time to try any fancy (for me anyway) decorations.

A couple coats of Bikini by Pure Ice with pretty pink and green floral decals.

Topped with Sally Hansen's Megashine.

Posts may be a little sporadic as my youngest prepares for 2 surgeries, Mar.1st and Apr. 5th.

Will have to wait and see how things go.
