I'm participating in "Show Off Monday" over at Etsy Cottage Style hosted by Marcela. Be sure to pop on over and see what all the bragging is about!

Our little town has a Fall Festival every Labor Day weekend. Everyone looks forward to it each year. There is lots of entertainemnt, contests, and just plain fun!
Some of the contests can get serious like the Salsa Making Contest (our neighbors have won like 8 years straight!).
Some are just for fun like the Pets On Parade Contest.
There are several catagories you can enter.....Best Dressed Pet, Biggest Pet, Littlest Pet, Most Unique Pet, Pet Owner Look-a-Like, etc.
Someone in our family usually enters one of our many pets.
This year my youngest entered his Tarantula for most unique. The Host didn't want to hold her, I wonder why?
Although, she was a hit with the younger boys that were there!
Here he is with his brother. Pretty nice ribbon & plaque, huh?!
He was pretty proud and so was I....so here I am bragging about him!
A tarantula??? OMG!!!! I don't blame that lady for not holding it..do you hold it??? I can see all the little boys going crazy about the "pet", they sure love that kind of creatures! Kudos to you to for letting your son having it! You are a lot braver that I am!!!
