Fall Garden

Garden Parties:

Fishtail Cottage

Tootsie Time

My Fall garden is a mess.
The poor thing has been left to fend for itself.
Low energy and depression has crept in.

Thank goodness for survivors like:

 Purple Potato Plant
(Solanum Wrightii)

Sunflowers

Impatiens

We have Apples!

Figs are coming to the end

The gardens need a big time trim

So does the neighbors Weeping Willow

Cecil Brunner is reaching for the Moon

I will attack soon....
"my one trash bag a day" plan
will probably come into effect.

I did manage to make some Potion Bottles
to put in my Etsy Shop.

  1. I don't think that your garden is a mess - I think you have lots of nice things in it. sandie

  2. Well I have the same problem, although your garden looks very nice. Why do weeds grow so fast? They come up everywhere, even in pots. I just can't keep up with them. Hugs...Lu

  3. Our veg & flower gardens are done for the season. I canned the last of the carrots today and put the flower pots in the garage because it's calling for frost tonight. It was wonderful weather up until now. Brrr... fall is definately in the air. And I love your potion bottles.

  5. When you're done there, can you come over and start in my garden. I love gardening, but I hate fall cleanup. Your garden does look beautiful from afar though.

  7. Hi Deb, I see a lot of beauty still in your garden. Even though there aren't as many blooms as before, there's a lot of pretty green. The gardens definitely do tend to gradually peter out over time, especially as the weather gets cooler.
    Have a good wknd! Beth

  8. So interesting...and not to worry. I think many of us have garden headaches when they get away from us. I know I do. My beds are FULL of grass...and it's overwhelming...and much too hot to go out and work at it. Maybe tomorrow? :)
