I'm not sure where the time goes
but here we are for another Fresh Cut Friday
at Rose Vignettes!
These "Sweet Peas" popped up in my garden this year.
They make a sweet bouquet ♥
I'm not sure where they came from.
Sweet Peas are a Spring/cool weather flower and all mine have died
back and gone to seed for the year.
Our Summer heat is too much for them.
I guess the birds left me a gift or some of my seed morphed?
Can it do that?
I love the color and splotches on the petals.
Unfortunately these do not have the Sweet Peas scent.
They actually have no scent....
which is better than having a nasty one!
Be sure to pop over to Liz's and see everyone's flowers
♥♥♥
Hi Deb, those flowers are so lovely, they even look so good in that vase. But we don't have that here. Thanks for visiting my post too, i surely appreciate your comment.
ReplyDeleteWow! These are little treasures. Why didn't the birds leave some in my garden too? If you see the birds, do let them know about my interest. :)
ReplyDeleteSweet Peas in August-amazing! They're very pretty Deb-enjoy:@)
ReplyDeleteBonjour Deb,
ReplyDeleteI'm delighted with your comment and I congratulate you for this lovely bouquet.
I like the simplicity of these flowers.
Bonne continuation, bises.
Hi Deb,
ReplyDeleteThe sweet peas are so pretty, how sad that they have no perfume at all.
Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs back! I am so happy that flowers don't follow the limits on the labels of when they can bloom!
ReplyDeleteI love sweet peas and we can't really grow them on the prairie -- there are some "hardy" ones that will grow and once established, you find them all over the garden!!!
ReplyDeleteYours are such a pretty color!
I wish I could have them in my garden too, they such a lovely colour and never thought of making sweet peas as a bouquet...so lovely!
ReplyDeleteThey are very lovely. I love it when a surprise flower pops up in my garden.
ReplyDeleteI really must plant sweet peas next year!
ReplyDeleteAugust is going fast ~ the weekends faster! So little time left to enjoy lovely sunshine and flowers.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a beautiful weekend Deb!
xo Catherine
I wonder if your sweet pea is the perennial species ~ it loves the heat!
ReplyDeleteSweet pea was one of Audrey Hephburn's favorite flowers and I love them too. They do not grow in my garden and honestly I dont know why! I should make it a point to try next season. Any tips?
ReplyDeleteHi Deb, Your sweet peas are beautiful. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and leaving me your comments on racoons. I am amazed that a racoon would have the nerve to attack a Great Dane! I will be careful with my dogs. They are wimps and would certainly loose any battle.
