Welcome to the Vintage Easter Blog Hop!
Joan at Anything Goes Here is our hostess,
be sure to visit her and
all the particpants sharing their vintage Easter decorations.
My first holds a special place just cuz it's so darn cute!
It's an Easter card sent to my Dad from his Aunt Florence.
There is actual hair sticking through the card!
Too cute!
A couple of Easter Postcards from my Grandmother.
Don't remember the date on this one...
I have it in a memory collage.
The date on this one is 1911,
it to my Grandmother before she was married.
This little basket was found during the clean out of my Parents farm.
My Sister has memories of it, but I don't.
Must have been used before me.
Now the Pink Hyacinth Chick I remember getting one Easter.
I think it was in...I want to say Bubble Bath, but not really sure.
It's always been my favorite since I received it.
Ok, That's it for me,
now hop on over to visit Joan!
Wow, these cards are amazing! I can't believe that you have one from 1911! That is a true vintage treasure.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for a happy and blessed Easter,

I love the family connection to the things you shared. The oldest cards are such a rare treasure to have. Thanks for sharing--and what do families know about crazy?! ;D ♥♫
ReplyDeleteI love your hyacinth chick! I've never seen anything like it, but I hope to find one some day for myself because I think it would be right at home with my decorations! Your postcards are so lovely, but that card to your Dad is just adorable!

I have been sharing my computer with my son so I don't get it exactly when I want. He is watching tv so I took over the computer. I love the Easter cards and I really liked how you recovered you benches from your previous post. It makes them look brand new and I really like the color that you chose. Your lilacs are pretty, also. Take care Your Missouri Friend.
ReplyDeleteSuch wonderful treasures you've accumulated. I love them all.
ReplyDeleteYou are so lucky to have such pretty vintage Easter lovelies...especially because they came from your family!! I have a collection of vintage postcards that I've collected over the years because their images are so pretty. I always wonder about the notes on the back and inside and the people who wrote and received them. Thanks so much for sharing!
