I Need a Small Favor....

I'm joining these parties:

Fishtail Cottage

Tootsie Time

It seems I'm always showing my back gardens,
so thought I'd share some of my front gardens today.

A few years ago I ripped out all the lawn
and the front transformed into.....

Double pinks (Dianthus)

Cranesbill and Yarrow

Sedum
(in pot over clean out)

Single Pinks (Dianthus)

No idea what this is.
I'm sure I (or the birds) probably planted it.

Chamomile, Thyme, Rosemary and Iris peaking though

The Jasmine that cover the arbor in in full bloom

A shady place to sit and watch the world go by.

The front of the house faces West, it gets really, really hot.
We are the only house on the block without a front porch.
My youngest was 3 when we moved in.
When he burned his hand on the front door
SOMETHING needed to be done!
The arbor was built.
Climbing Roses (from my Parents), and Jasmine where planted...
they engulf it now, some 17 years later.

We are unique to the other homes in the court.

Rose scented Geranium

Baby Tear carpet the recycled bricks that make the floor.
We hauled them from my Parents Farm.

All the rain we have been having has knocked all the debris onto the swing.
I need to get out there are clean.

This has become a very shady area instead of a burning hot one.

Jasmine covers the entrance to the doorway.
The scent wafts into the house and is sublime.

OK maybe just a couple photos from the back...
the Water Iris is in full bloom too.
Love the colors!
(that orange is one of my koi)

Oh...
By the way.......

.... I need a small favor ... If it's not too much trouble.

I am going away on vacation, and I need a friend to come over to water my plants while I am gone.

The plants are mostly geraniums and begonias. In the hot weather they'll probably only need water twice a day. I'll be gone only 21 days. I've attached a photo for your reference.

I'll send you a post card.

Thanks. :-)

LOL
Have a great weekend!!
