Overwhelmed and Loving It!

A friends home keeps being broken into any time he leaves,
so he has decided to just clear it out.
It belonged to his Grandparents and some of their things are still inside.
I went over one day last week to help.
I brought home a completely loaded van.
I'm going to clean things up and sell them for him on Etsy and eBay.

Everything is out on my deck.

The hoops on the right are for embroidering.
One even has it's own stand.

I keeping the wicker table! Yippee!

Lots and lots of vintage glassware

Several oil lamps too

Vintage wall decor galore!

Great old books!

Cute canister set and great Fruit Crate Labels

Lots of milk glass..
some hobnail too

It's fun to go back through it and rediscover everything!

So much neat stuff.....
some will be staying in it's new home,
 with me

  2. What fun to get to go through all these treasures. Keep some, sell some! I hope you will continue to share what you discover. I love milk glass and most anything vintage. What kind of picnic basket is that?

  3. What fun...and work...and kindness....the world needs more kind and thoughtful people. Alabama has seen this kindness with the outpouring of donations and assistance since the devastation! I love you kitties too...Mama Kitty reminds me of our Casper (rest his soul)...I am new to your blog via Coastal Charm Linkup...I hope you will visit me and enter the Giveaway that ends tomorrow over at The Cranky Queen. Thanx for sharing...Tiff

  7. Well there you are you cute patootie! I was wondering what mischief had taken you away! Looks like quite the haul. I would love to plop down next to you and go through all the stuff. I love going through other peoples boxes and stuff.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised about the getaway. I usually go all out for him. A few years ago I got him a Harley. I didn't even get a card! Now, birthdays are still forgotten though. Ah well....
