It's Fertilizer Friday over at Tootsie Time
Do pop over and see everyone's flowers!
We had an aweful wind storm for over 3 days this week.
Very detrimental to the garden.....
not only did it knock over a section of our fence,
but decapitated my only and only Tree Rose :~(
And I do mean decapitated.
The only thing that is left is the trunk!
I know it will reshoot, but gosh darn it!
These are the only decent ones that were left for me to shoot.
Reliable pink Geranium
Some Happy Rose Hips
yes, I know they aren't flowers,
but hey I'm dragging the bottom of the barrel here!! LOL
Oh that is just so sad that you lost all that progress on your tree rose!!! I hate when the wind takes over...it is just ruthless!
ReplyDeletewhat you did have to show is gorgeous...even the rose hips...to me they are a promise of things next season!

ReplyDeleteRe: Comment on my blog--my walking iris gets ignored by me most of the time. From time to time I will toss some miracle grow it's way. It get's sun in the afternoon....
ReplyDeleteSorry about your rose. Your Narcissus is pretty though. Ourdo not come out until spring...Christine
ReplyDeleteUgh, the wind is terrible to plants...I'm sorry you lost your treasure. I do like the narcissus, even if it is confused. My geraniums are trying to recover in the greenhouse...fingers crossed!
