I remember my Mom used to with all those lugs of fruit she used to buy! Her and my Aunt would can for DAYS!!! I don't remember where I got it from, but "learned" to leave them upside down for 15 mins. then turn right side up. Knew they were sealed by the 'plink'! I have kept applesauce for around 2 years and all my family is still alive ;) But wanted to put the water bath method in all my canning recipes for those who do it.
My 2 cents for what they're worth ;)
Happy canning!debhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17610337579031329980noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8738196333995045030.post-22035821133658971892021-09-18T13:06:28.179-07:002021-09-18T13:06:28.179-07:00I'm absolutely interested in the zapplesauce b...I'm absolutely interested in the zapplesauce but I'm reading mixed information about water bath canning zucchini. We try here but just too hot. I do put up veggies when I buy extra at the local markets and put them in the freezer and also do green peppers the same as the zucchini. I can just imagine how good the zickles are.
Thanks for sharing and your recipes.
Have a great day.
HugsCelestina Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10021633519525822335noreply@blogger.com
