Paint'em Pretty ~ Beyond Perfect

Yes, you see correctly ~ I decided to cut my nails short.
Why? Who the heck knows! Am I glad that I did?
NO, not now!
Seemed like a good idea at the time.
You know, I thought cut them back, let them get stronger - like they needed to be any stronger!
Wire cutters would have done a better job
than the nail clippers I used!

But as they say, they will grow out.
In the meantime, I have nothing to use to pry anything open with! UGH!

So this week they are painted #14, Peaceful Plum from the Sally Hansen Collection of Beyond Perfect Protein Nail Color.
Beyond Perfect - apropos for this post huh?

My accent nail is Art Deco Nail Art Lacquer by L.A. Colors in Silver Glitter. Yes, still stuck in glitter mode.

Then, of course, topped with one coat of my fav top coat Sally Hansen's Megashine.  I'm getting really low on my Megashine and am having trouble finding it. I am hoping they didn't replace it with a new/improved "top coat" I keep seeing everywhere.
I am on the hunt!

Until next time ~

Paint'em Pretty - Sinful Colors Professional ~ Tempest

OK I'm ready for Spring! LOL
Sinful Colors Professional ~ Tempest
2 coats
I cut strips of tape for my accent finger
painted Art Deco Nail Art Lacquer
by L.A. Colors in white over all for stripes.
Then topped with one coat of top coat
Sally Hansen's Megashine.

I was pleasantly surprised how good the stripes turned out!
Uh yeh, it will be awhile before I can do
something like this if ever, but aren't they cute!!

Herb Scissors by Marky Products Review #MarkyProducts

Let me introduce to you your next
''can't live without kitchen gadget''!

I didn't even know such a thing existed.
I must be hiding under a rock!

We all know what a tedious task it is to chop or dice up herbs
for cooking. Half the time mine get mangled and
stuck to the cutting board with most of their
flavor juices squeezed out by the time
they actually make it into the dish.
I'll spare you from that horrendous sight.

Yes, I love cooking with fresh herbs,
but often grab dried for the convenience.
I know, with a beautiful herb garden
right out back - shame on me!

So when I was asked to try the Herb Scissors,
needless to say I was definitely intrigued.

Garlic Chives

Feverfew

Rosemary

I was able to chop and mince herbs quickly with these
5 blade stainless steel herb scissors.
I also love that you can shred lettuce with these!
A real time saver.
Useful for hand paper shredding too.
The soft silicone lined handles were comfortable
and made for an easy grip.

Love the little clean up brush to use if necessary.
Easy clean under running water,
but is also dishwasher safe.

They also come with a
100% Marky Products Herb Scissors
Lifetime Guarantee
What a great gift for the cook in your life!
