Treasures ~ 3/9/10

I'm joining Diane at A Picture is Worth 1,000 Words
for the first time for 2nd Time Around Tuesday.
Be sure to pop over and see what everyone else is sharing.
I'm also joining for the first time,
Linda over at Coastal Charm for Nifty Thrifty Tuesdays.
Be sure to check out what everyone is showing.

There weren't many yard/garage sales last weekend,
but I did find a new 2nd hand furniture store
that just opened two towns over.

Such a variety for a small town,
I was very surprised and impressed with the quality
and cleanliness of the store and items.

There are several rooms, the furniture is set up like
you would find it in a home.

I had originally visited the weekend before
and had spied a sweet sofa.
Walked over to it and found it was a LazyBoy Hideabed.
The price was $200.00. Next to it was a comfy looking chair with cover
for $40.00. The owner told me there was a lady
that was interested in both and she would be in the next day.
Figured it wasn't meant to be.....

My daughter and I wandered around and I ended up getting
this door knocker, $3.00. This will end up somewhere in the Living Room
that is getting a makeover this summer.

I also purchased this sweet bouquet for $3.00 too.

Ok now we're caught up..
went in last weekend and to my surprise the
sofa and chair were still there! The lady never made it in.
I was so excited, I snagged them both.
Figured she snoozed and loosed ;~)

Hideabed and 2 throw pillows

Chair with washable cover and a pillow
I had that coordinates beautifully. And yes it IS comfy.

On the way out I heard a scream....
Take us, take us!

So I did!
Set of nesting tables, $15.00

Now to get the living room painted
so I can arrange all my beauties.
